About Me

I am a translator by education and by passion. I have graduated from Jagiellonian University in Kraków with MA degree in linguistics (2010–2012). Earlier, during my postgraduate studies at Tischner European University in Kraków, I've studied audiovisual translations (2010–2011) and before that, also at Tischner European University, I've received BA degree in applied linguistics with specialization in English and Spanish (2006–2010). In May 2017 I joined Polish Literary Translators Association.

I have an excellent knowledge of Polish spelling and punctuation and great command of English grammar and vocabulary. I've studied a lot of languages but I choose English as my favourite. Recently, I've also started to study Norwegian, and I hope that in the future it will become another language I've mastered.

Apart from foreign languages, translations and linguistics, I'm very interested in European and North American cinema. I'm also a great admirer of William Shakespeare’s works. In my free time I play role playing games and board games, practice traditional archery, sing and cook.
